With origins in engineering, construction and procurement, Project Management has now expanded to include projects in all sectors of the economy.  In what will be a lively discussion we’ll take a look at how successful we are being in deploying Project Management to a wider audience and where we may need to further develop the Project Management profession in order to fully meet the expectations and needs of our customers.

Robert Goatham is the Principal of Calleam Consulting Ltd and a leading thinker in the field of Project Management.  With more than 20 years of experience Robert has worked in senior Project Management capacities for IBM, Singapore Airlines and organizations around the world.  Specializing in advanced Project Management practice and training, Robert’s work is reshaping the way organizations view Project Management and what it takes to develop an effective project delivery capability. 
 
Pioneering the idea that projects need to be viewed as large scale, complex, decentralized decision making activities, Robert is reshaping the way the world views Project Management and what it takes to succeed.  Going beyond the process models that form the basis for traditional Project Management training Robert’s work challenges people to think about the dynamics of projects in the real world.  Robert is certified Project Management Professional and a Certified Quality Analyst.  Robert is passionate about helping organizations and individuals develop their skills and their capabilities.
